MonaVerde History

Let's hear directly from MonaVerde President and Founder Vanessa Petty.

"I started learning the business when I was 17. I started working under Fearrington Village underneath Kristy Barto, the Corporate Sales Manager where I learned to coordinate corporate retreats, facilitate corporate meetings, plan and execute team building activities and act as a liaison. I love people. I love social events, building relationships, having a good time, making memories, and having stories to tell. I feel that there are ways to do this without wasting energy and food. For example, organic foods just taste better. It's trendy to go green now. I want to ensure companies can reverse their impact on the environment, while making people happy. "

Seven years later, I founded MonaVerde to be able to live my dream of creating and managing 'green' ecologically-friendly events. I look forward to managing your next event!
